We celebrate the art of block printing on fabric. Our artisans take our original block print designs and print them onto cotton. However, the block printing process goes beyond pressing blocks onto fabric. There are so many steps involved, from carving each wooden block to preparing fabric, mixing dyes, and applying final touches. Each block printing technique requires artistry, skill, and patience. It is the sum of these tasks that produce our gorgeous block printed fabrics.About Our Vendor
Our Vendor ensures that every product that comes out of the centre is of excellent quality. She says, "Quality is of utmost importance and we follow a three-step check to ensure that the fabric and its handcrafted design is done to perfection. The fabric and its quality is checked at OST, then again at the villages and then at Paramparin for the quality of embroidery and appliqué work." Then she sends the clothes for ironing and maintains a record of every fabric at every stage. Apart from quality, she also manages and attends to customers who visit the Paramparin centre.
